Its all about the precious Not outlandish. Most of the higher end bounces start out ridiculously high. And the harder to get less farmed out bounces keep there value. Its an investment at the end of the day.

This is not a typo I wish it was and I wish we could provide these for cheaper. This coral is a true Marvel.The truth is we paid an arm and a leg for for this original one pictured. This type of mushroom and price is not for everybody and we understand the price sounds outrageous. This is for the true high end collector who wants something extremely rare and exotic. There is no more purple monsters being imported and we think the rarity of this coral is only going to get more extreme. This gem is truly at the top of the charts in terms of Collector items. I really hope more come in and this one grows faster so we can offer them more often at a lesser price point. But as it stands we don't even have any for sale currently at the price listed and need to wait at least 6 months before we can attempt to cut it again...

If they were cheaper, everyone would have them. Do you drive a Ferrari? Some people do. Cannot bash people for pricing of certain items. There is a market for everything, and rarity is a thing.

What would stop someone from buying one of theses rare very exspensive corals and selling the babies for 1/10th the going rate and ruining the market? Nothing.
That's the difference between the Yugo/Ferrari argument. That can't happen.
