90&30 gal reeftanks sabotaged

well weve been having problems at home with my mothers boyfriend and his son, so i come home from work n my hole room smells like chlorine n i know somethings wrong... i look at my tanks n there super cloudy n all my coral looks terrible dead or dying... i stick my fingers in my tank n smell um n i can tell bleach has been put in there.... we fight after that n hes got two weeks to get now n were stayin somewere else for the time bieng....i really want them put in jail for animal cruelty n grand larsony but my mom wont let me.... i wish i could have some fellow reefers stand up for me.... iv got my coral that might make it in a great friends tank, only three corals have died completelly n a couple got left behind... plz help...

Probably a good idea to edit out their names...but I agree, file a police report or tell your mom she can pay for the damage.

In all honesty, thats just bites. I agree, if you can provide evidence that they did that I will file a police report for sure. So sorry to hear about your string of bad luck. Also edit the posting if you could, name dropping isn't kosher. Good luck with everything I hope the ones that are alive still will pull through. :angel:

Wow that sucks, keep a sample in a closed container, aerate the water, add tap water conditioner, and do a water change. Take off any glass tops and open the doors on your stand, this will help the chlorine dissipate.

Wow!!!!what a scumbag...if I were you I'd file a police report in a heartbeat...I know this is a family oriented website and this post will probably get taken down, so I apologize beforehand but I think a beating is in place for whomever did it! I can't even imagine if someone did that to my tank what I would do...Good luck with everything and I hope you get it figured out.

well my moms makin him pay for everything that was murdered, the sum i figured was 1400 dollars. it did get pretty crazy but ill keep that to myself i know itll be frownded apon n i try to be loyal to things im apart of....iv tore my tank down cause none of the rock looked like it made it thru, i was hoping to get some help on how to clean all the death from the tanks n rock so i can startthe tanks over... i app everyones concern

So sorry to hear that this happened, gut wrenching to think of the stuff that you lost, it is understandable the feelings of anger and frustration. Good luck in getting things started back up.
