I have a 90 cube with the awful close overflow. When I plumbed it originally I was so focused on using slip fittings to bulkhead for ultra low profile bend ( to get tank as close to wall as possible) I never put a flippin vent drain! So I was cursing the thought of having to go nuts cutting drains and making tee fit in there when I came across this. I am going to try it unless I hear huge failures, but a non pressure drainage line with fittings and stuff to add pipes for air should be good. I was even thinking of just drilling hole large enough for some to tubing and just run that threw the pvc hole
