I have ati hybrid t5 with 2 dsuny LEDs corals are growing nice however I dont like the look of the the aquarium I cant get the tank to have the blue lighting for coral color I want with the dsunys i love my ai prime hds on my 30 lagoon. So could I run 3 ai primes hd on my 90 with the t5 and maintain the coral growth of my mixed tank?

Hey @A.alaffa90 - three AI Prime 16HD's + T5 should be enough to maintain a mixed reef. However, you probably will want to see what your PAR is on the bottom of your tank and adjust coral placement accordingly.

Also, if your dimensions are truly 48l x 36t x 18d, you have a 135 gallon and not a 90. Please take this into account when dosing anything.

I swapped out some of the LEDs from my dsuny fixture to add more blue/violet. I took out the reds because I read they can lead to more algae and combined with the blue they made everything look purple.

The swap wasn’t too difficult if you have basic soldering experience. If you end up going with the primes, I’d be interested in purchasing one of your dsuny fixtures.
