90 gallon build finally started!

Wow man what a great tank! Love the scape and everything's looks fantastic!
I just got a 90 marine land myself and I couldn't be happier!
What's the rest of your fish stock list going to look like! I'm looking for more ideas myself!

Hey man! What's up?

Just got back from vacation found my skimmer overflowing and the sitter left one of my leds on manual and it was super bright over some Zoas and anemone and some acans they didn't seem happy but I think they'll be fine. I'm loosing my frogspawn but it was a freebie and puny from the start. Glass was pretty nasty but everything looks like I left it now. Not bad for a first vacation away from it. Good to be back I missed it haha

I may add more but everybody is healthy now so I may leave it as is for awhile.

So far I have.

Male and two female lyretail anthias
Two tank raised clowns that don't care for an anemone haha
yellow tang
Banghaii Cardinal
Randall's goby that couldn't care less about his candy cane pistol shrimp
And various crabs and snails.

Right now just Zoas acans euphyllia rose bubble tip anemone gsp. Next will be another frogspawn and start with some montipora for now.

The head on the left wasn't there when I got it. They gave it to me,and the head on the right it was out about the size of a 50cent peice a month ago. but this is what it's like now. tried dipping it in lugols but to no avail. Any ideas.

Ouch. Hard to say if it's gone or there's a very very slight chance it could pop back if it isn't completely gone already. I've seen some come back if there's any tissue remaining. First off, what's the placement they are in, in your tank?

It's still there but he is lookin bad. mid level moderate light and flow.
What's your calcium at? [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG], what's yalls take on this? I've seen them bounce back from nothing. Let's see if we can help him out!

Id say try a different flow. Some do well with high, some with slow, depends on the coral

my advice? Be sure to keep your Ca, Mg and Alk in order.... take it down and put it somewhere with med to low flow and the same for lighting. Then.... forget about it. In a couple months you might find it comes back. I'll say though, that it is rare without any tissue being left on the skeleton. Typically if there is tissue around the mouth area, then it has a chance. If not, then... well, the chances go down.

Youd be suprized, i had old hammer skeletons bloom heads about 2 months after they died. Aslong as theres no brown jelly or infection and theres still some flesh left, i say leave it!
See! Just keep them in the water and do wat @melypr1985, said[emoji4]

I'll check again tonight last week calcium was 450 alk 8.4 and mag was 1350. Thanks for all the replies I can still see the little guy but he is in hiding
