This place was so cool wish I'd took more pictures of some of the broodstock. Beautiful Wyoming whites maroons snowflakes etc. new front tank shot can't see my bubbletip but it's growin and colored up nice its on the inside of the right island my clowns are showing interest in it. They stared at it all night last night and guarded the perimeter of it.

I get my Hanna low range phosphate checker today so I can see where it stands. Atleast I'll be alittle more in tune with what my tank is doing with a number to go by.

What's up @cameronh it's been ok I guess starting to get ugly case of cyano tho so been siphoning and added two fighting conches. Have chemi clean on its way. But hopefully won't use it. It may actually be mixed with spirulina also. noticed a food I've been feeding has it in it. Dosing h202 for cyano to see if it takes care of it.

You can also try upping your magnesium a little bit. I can't stand cyano

Shew me either it's mostly on my sandbed I checked nitrate and phosphate and still undetectable but cyano feed on photosynthesis carbon and nitrogen so it's not as easy. I had a light go out in my algae scrubber I'm not sure how long it's been out so that may have contributed to the growth. Maybe just coincidence though. My ma is 1350 I prob could get by with raising it up more what would you think 1500-1600? Wonder what effect that would have on cal and alk?

Yea man some new things going on. Found out the reason for the cyano outbreak. My cheap led lights went out and the other only had one side working on the algae scrubber. so It basically crashed on me. So for now I took it offline and went back to chaeto and some Carbon and GFO. When I get back in town I'm doing some major cleaning because once I treated the cyano the green hair algae came. But I bought a lot better refugiam lights for the chaeto. I got the mars hyrdro 300w.

It's been on three days now and already saw pretty insane growth with it.

Nitrates are undetectable. Phosphates only read .. 02-.04 but I assume they're higher because of the algae growth.

Yea my tanks birthday is coming up too haha. You've been my only follower haha. Appreciate that. I've been a member since 6-11-15. It's a daily thing for me and have learned a ton since this was my first saltwater venture. Been a blast for sure.

Love the rockscape. Clowns are my favorite as well but my two diamond gobies are very entertaining to watch.

Gobies are pretty cool! I have a pistol shrimp and Randall's goby but they don't spend much time together. Yet any way. I'm ok with the scape it hasn't changed any later this evening I'll post some new pics. Although I'm battling Gha at the moment. I also want to do a review on the mars hydro light I added last Tuesday. I went from the wavepoint 12" led 6500k daylight to the mars hydro 300w grow light and since Tuesday it has grew like wildfire! I'll end up trimming every week. Which is a good thing. Pics to come. Thanks for replying.
