Hey guys, New to R2R but not to the hobby.

I just picked up a 90 gallon tempered glass drilled tank, it was super neglected and full of worms. after stripping all the hardware pumps substrate and rock. I soaked it in a vinegar bath for 2 weeks. This past weekend I reinforced the stand, re-plumed it all, and set this bad boy up.

Currently it is just running on RO and Prime to make sure it will be safe before i add new substrate and base rock. Will be dis-guarding this water and mixing new RODI and salt.

The sump is just a 40 gallon tank lots of plexi and a few cold ones. nothing special but it adds volume, socks, a skimmer and Refugium. no good pictures of it currently i can add some if you guys are interested

Happy reefing everyone.

Heck yeah dude, i like to drink with the Fishey Homies.

Also thanks about the rock. I changed them up a bit already. one not at all, one completely.

Welcome @Michael Allen to R2R.

I too have a 90 gallon tank. As far as return pumps, ran a MAG9.5 for years and recently went to a Waveline DC6000.

Thank you for the warm welcomes everyone! I will be posting updates here frequently.

Just installed an orbit loop system and a 2 bulb t5 setup to the tank.. order dr Tim's one and done bacteria.

Sorry to say that most triggers grow to be a foot long and would need 180 gallon tank to live a long and happy life.

That's a bummer.. I do plan to do a huge 500gallon tub eventually for a grow out tank. But that is way in future. Even still i wouldn't put one in there.

Your rock works looks great. Two observations, the left looks close to side can you get a sponge past it to clean glass? The other is are your rocks resting on bottom of glass, you don't want anything digging under it and get crushed?

Thank you for the feed back.
Yes, it is pretty close. But I will be getting a flipper so it should fit past. My hand can slide past there.. other than that everything is on the glass then I added the sand..its also all glued and epoxied together. Only thing not on the glass is the single little piece in the middle.

Update 6/25/18 Added 2 green chromies 2 turbos 10 blue legs and 2 red legs. A ball of Chaeto and some cheap grow light.

Great build here. I also have the 90 gallon with 40 breeder sump I am setting up. I understand you did a DIY sump? Do you have any suggestions on layout that you like or even pics of what you did?
