As I sit here surrounded by my new equipment as it arrives more daily I've began to wonder at what sort of fish will thrive in my 90 gallon 4ft tank. Other than the obvious clowns, damsel, etc etc what are your recommendations or your list? All input appreciated! Pics also!

My system will be high flow with a very wide open scape with nothing "touching" glass all the way around for maximum swim space. Decent amount of hides/caves in the rock.

Fairy, flasher, Halichoeres and Macropharyngodon wrasses, anthias, gramma, assessor, Meiecanthus and Ecseius blennies, marine betta, and pink bar gobies.

My Kole Tang does very well in my 90, and I'd say a Yellow Wrasse (Halichoeres) is a must have. That little guy has so much character, always moving, and eats every undesirable pest he sees. You'll never have a worm problem with one of them in the tank.

I have a 90. My favorite fish are probably my blue star leopard wrasse, copperband, and red velvet fairy wrasse. I know rubrisquamis is rumored to be a bully but mine gets along reasonably well with 3 other fairy wrasses. He is 2nd in the pecking order.

you need one of these.

Is it safe around inverts? I looked up that fish on liveaquaria.com and it said it might eat shrimp and snails. Did it eat any of yours?

It is possible that it will eat inverts, H. chrysus is one of the safest Halichoeres wrasses. I have kept them in the past and they never presented a problem with inverts.
