I currently have the reefbreeder 48" V1. It is a very powerful light. VERY POWERFUL!!.

I have had this light on my 90 gallon mixed reef for 4 years now with mixed reviews. 11.5" off the water line. I have great luck growing calices and zoas, and have tried sps with not much luck. Can not keep an anemone to save my life.(Water quality is great and spot on).

Now onto my question. The moon lights have been acting up for a few months now on the fixture and I believe the days are getting short for the light itself. I have been looking at other lighting options and have to admit I really like the AI 26 hd fixtures.

Can anyone provide any feedback on 2 of these fixtures over a 90 gallon mixed reef. Maybe pictures of results with 2 over a 4 foot tank. Would like to try and keep a little of everything :). Would love to build it up enough to keep a carpet one day.

If not these fixtures can you provide other options that would work? Thanks for your time.:)

2 of the AI 26 HD lights will not be enough for the depth of a 90g. If you add 4 T5s it would be good.

Thanks for the reply. I really do not want T5's. Would 2 AI 52 hd's work better?
