I have a 90 gallon 48x18x24. It is my first tank and have have about 70 lbs of dry rock. I am looking for a cheap lighting that I could grow soft corals and lps (scared of doing sps right now lol)... trying to keep it under 400-500 for lighting it all but if it’s cheaper I wouldn’t mind lol. Here’s a picture of my tank and thank you all for your help

My recommendation is what is termed a Chinese Black Box (CBB). There are a number of good fixtures out there, but I'd suggest Mar Aqua or SB Reef. Either one 300 watt fixture or two 160 watt fixtures. With that budget, you can easily purchase controllable fixtures that require no controller to run them.

I’d look for a used ATI unit if you want T5 or 2 hydra 26s would do it as well. You could also go aquatic life hybrid and just run the T 5s for now and find a couple LED units when you can.
