Nothing too fancy here, I started this reef in a 75 gallon bow front (maybe 6 or so years ago), crammed the inhabitants in to a 55 after the center brace cracked, then upgraded to a 90 gallon for the past 2 years or so.
Each move I completely cleaned the existing sand, kept the live rock as is, and kept the inhabitants the same. Both moves were seamless and practically undetectable parameter spikes.
The current inhabitants:
1 Bangai Cardinal
2 yellow/blue Damsels
2 Ocellaris Clowns
1 Mandarin Dragonette
15-20 miscellaneous hermits
10 or so astrea snails
Assorted Corals:
Leathers - cabbage, Kenya tree,
Zoas, Palys, Parazoas, Protopalys
LPS- torch, frogspawn, trumpets, one Acan
Gren star Polyps
SPS - birds nest, acros, montis, pocilloporas
Running everything under a high end Chinese LED (fully prugrammable) about 12 hours a day, ramping up from 20% to 90% over a few hours and back down to 20%.
I do a 5 gallon water change probably 3 times a month
I add coral vite once or twice a week, purple up once or twice a week, and add iodine once or twice a week.

Minimal nuisance algae (a few small patches of green hair and green bubble)

Over the winter I lost my ornate Wrasse and foxface when the power failed for two days, with no heat and no flow I also lost some SPS colonies and a large Frogspawn, bleached out several other corals, but they bounced back. Other than that my system has never crashed, but have battled numerous issues along the way:
Flat worms
Majano anemones
Bad nudibranches
Cyano outbreaks
Etcetera

That's my reef in a nutshell...

Nice looking tank;)

Thanks, I recently added a bunch of acropora drags (60 days or so) and am waiting to see them "get happy"
They have barely any polyp extention and are very slowly coloring up.
I am thinking this is normal, but not sure, it was my first time with mail order SPS they were all bleached coming out of the box.
