I thought I started a thread but I guess not. Im starting this for a giveaway but I want to do it as a diary that I update occasionally. For now I'm just gonna post my tank at its current state about 5-6 months in.

90 gallon mixed reef with mainly lps/softies and 1 or 2 sps.

20 gallon sump with an AquaC EV-180

I'll organize this thread later. Just added 2 kessil a360we tuna blues to the loop marine ic pros. Top of rock looking like 350par and sand in the 100s. Couldn't ask for better.

Par meter says i have enough for sps now that I added the 2 kessils. I have to turn them down to sit at 350ish on top of the rocks.
Interesting I just bought a used setup 90 gal and it happened to come with 2 48” current USA ic pros and I’m looking to add more light

Ah alright. The marine ics just barely pass as reef tank lights. I had blue and white set to 100 and green and red super low. I used the channel settings off the current usa website. But opted for 100% white and blue for more par. At the bottom of the tank i was barely getting a reading. At the top of my rocks was like 80-100ish. So for low light lps and softie u could get by. My corals look better since adding the kessils. If u can afford to add more lights I definately would.

okay, i'm planning on it for sure. I think I want T5s but I’m dreading having to change bulbs

Funny you say that. I was gonna do the same. I was looking at the brs website and was thinking of shoving the marine ics in the middle of a retrofit system. My coral guy offered me the kessils so I went with them instead of the t5s. Good luck! I'll have to follow ur thread and see what u end up doing.

honestly I think i'll still go with the t5's been looking at amazon horticulture t5s because the cost of LEDs honestly make me feel sick

Me 2 dude!... I only got them because they were used. If u want a nice light for ur tank I would check the used market for sure. Check facebook marketplace and especially the forums here. Although items on the forums move quick u can get an led fixture for about half off. And alot of people jump into this hobby and jump out so u can get items that are fairly new.... thats what I did. Tank, stand, all lights, skimmer, powerheads. All used.
