Hey guys,

Just started a 90 gallon reef tank like a month and a 1/2 ago. It seems to be doing well I have a company coming out for now to do maintenance on it into I get the hang of things.Nothing really new to the hobby but been out of the game for a year now. I used to have a 40 gallon fish only tank which I moved everything over to the 90 gallon tank. The only problem I having is with my Flower rock anemones only want to open when the lights go out... Any information on them will help me out alot thanks here some pictures of my tank.

I just can't believe your lights are too intense, but what kind of lights are you running? And have you been running these lights at this intensity from the start? And the RFA's really open up when the lights go off?

I find common RFA's in some extremely shallow water at noon under the full sun and they are wide open. However, the colorful RFA's do come from deeper water and light intensity could be an issue. They should acclimate to it though as I have many under pretty strong leds. How long have they been in your tank?
