In my opinion the Current Orbit should not even be a consideration in your 24" tall tank. They only use .25w LEDs and will definitely not have the punch to get much light to the bottom. The Evergrow use 3w and would work much better. If those are the only two lights you are considering definitely go with the Evergrow.

The Current Orbit should be only considered for FOWLR not coral.

Some have had good luck with the Evergrow others have not.

For the price you get what you pay for. I would consider spending a bit more on a Cree LED Fixture v one with dated LEDs.

Just remember you cannot judge the intensity of a LEDs fixture by comparing watts.

IMO, try to get in on a group buy with one of the tried and trued companies. Prefferably one that has a good USA warranty. If you go to the sponsor pages you will find LED light suppliers regularly announce group buy discounts. It is pretty much just a preorder discount type deal and they may ship directly to your door.
