Currently have a 32 gallon cube ish tank that is beautiful. But as most of us always want to upgrade its time for me to do the same. I just added an xr15 above this tank a few months ago and started adding coral and loved it so that's when I decided to do the 90 gallon.

Alright time for the 90 gallon build.

90 gallon reef ready marineland tank
Metal stand which I'll skin with wood somehow stay tuned lol
A zero edge series 7 36" sump
Kessil ap700 light fixture
Maxspect gyre 130
Vortech mp10
Hard plumbing everything for the first time wish me luck
Brs single reactor
Simplicity 120 dc controllable protein skimmer my lfs just got them in testing it for them so far seems like a pretty nice device through it in some water ran quiet as could be
Sicce 3.0 return

Substrate undecided either black or bare bottom

Minimal rock with Marinepure in the sump

Also have two ai primes in case the kessil just doesn't fill in the far edges of the aquarium we will see

Here's a picture of the 32 before water don't have any pics on my iPad at the minute

Here's some pictures of the build as you can tell a lot left to do but all the equipment is here and ready to go. The two primes I really don't think I'll need as this kessil is BRIGHT but won't know until some coral is in the tank.

Will need some help with the hard plumbing I want to run my brs reactor in line with the return pump I bought a t splitter but how do I hook up the hose that came with the reactor to the split. Or do I need a different hose

Did a lot of the plumbing today realized I forgot a ball valve and grabbed a wrong bushing but no worries I'll finish it up tomorrow or Saturday. On the return pump I decided to tee it off and use that as my water changer system. I mix my water on the other side of the wall so I can empty and then fill without any buckets :D super excited about that. My tank that is pictured above has been running about 4 months no issues but for some reason all the livestock just got ich. I didn't add anything to the tank in about a month so not sure how they got sick but now I know that tank will be my new quarantine tank. As far as the kessil ap700 i really don't want to hang it from the ceiling so I'll probably weld something up.

Quick update it's all plumbed, but have decided to put it against another wall. So now I don't think I can do the water change system I had previously mentioned but I'll keep the ball valve installed just in case. Also it was marine velvet not ich and lost all my livestock. Not a happy camper at the moment because I was planning on reusing the rocks in the tank to cycle the new 90 but now either I let it go fallow and add the rocks later or start from scratch. I'm leaning towards the latter. Just don't want to add the coral from the old tank to the new one in case they introduce it, anyone have any experience with coral introducing velvet let me know.

Alright everything is finally cemented in been ridiculously busy. Next step is getting the light mounted, painting the back of the tank, and skinning the metal stand. Goal is to have water in the tank by Nov 1st

Alright so we are filled and everything is running smoothly light isn't mounted correctly yet but will be soon for the time being this is the final look will add probably another 20 pounds of rock to the left side seems way to empty

The light is really bright and the shimmer is astounding coming from a radion couldn't be happier just need some time to tinker with the light schedules and colors

Great looking set up!
