Hi everyone, I’m looking to upgrade and I noticed Petco has all their tanks for 50% off and the 90 is $150. I would obviously have to drill it, but is it worth it for that little price??

I known it’s not the fanciest of tanks, but at that price point...

Any suggestions or opinions are appreciated!

The price is right and the 90's make pretty good tanks. Let me ask you this: When you first considered upgrading, what size/dimension tank were you considering? This new tank is going to be a long term fixture in your life. If it's just a right time/right price situation, don't do it. Wait and get what you want. If it's what you want for the long haul, GO FOR IT!!

Great advice! I do want to upgrade Since I’ve had the 40 for about 2 years now and want bigger and that was my real deep dive into the coral game and non beginner tank.

It is too deep and narrow for my personal taste but I am not that tall. Go look at in person and imagine yourself doing maintenance and if it will work for you. It is a big change in depth from a 40 breeder.

I'm seeing depth as 25 3/8? The 110 is 30.
And deep tanks rock. :)

Oh ya, it’s definitely different. I will def take a look in person before anything.

To each their own, it's not my thing. A custom 8 ft by 2 ft and about 18 inch height would be my thing.

Your tank looks great regardless, the custom rock I think helps tremendously with your deep tank.

thanks.
in both tanks I had/have I couldn't go long because of space restraints. so I went up.

This is my 90 gallon at its peak before crash. Only 6 months up. Have it drilled and it will be amazing.
