All good here with the storm, had a ~4 hr power outage yesterday. With the wind I was expecting longer but crews were on it.

Power outages are most common in winter here, we just hook up the generator to the fish tank and fridge, roll the stand-up freezer out of the garage if needed, light a fire, keep the house warm and hang out with some games and candles. Kinda bummed it was a quick one yesterday

I’m going to look into getting a transfer switch installed this winter so I can just plug the generator into the house to power all the outlets without needing extension cords.

Nothing much new to report here, now that I've recovered from a turkey coma, another 10g (~25%) water change today and the skimmer is finally online! Finally have enough of the Melafix out of the tank. Been about a month since 3 hail mary doses..

CUC is happy

I'll scrape the glass on the next WC so we can get better pictures of the pineapple sponges that migrated from the skimmer, to my auto feeder tube....

Cancel the skimmer, ran decent for 30 mins before erupting..

3 Melafix doses, then 5, 25% water changes over a month and still cannot run it.. bah.
