I am in the process of upgrading from 55g to 90g. I want to finalize my fish stocking now, so I can start the QT process. I have to rearrange the LR and equipment adjustments, so really the tank is fully up and running except the minor adjustments. It will be a mixed reef setup.

Current stocking:
1 Yellow Tang
1 Royal Gramma
1 Six Line Wrasse
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Yellow Watchman Goby

My additions need to be coral and invert safe. I have two ideas for additions, Chromis or Cardinalfish, but I'm hoping to read other ideas that I haven't thought of. If I go Chromis or Cardinalfish, not sure of the number of fish to go with. Thank you for some ideas.

I think it will; it accepted the Tang and Clowns in the 55g.

Sunburst anthias or my favorite...a pair of leopard wrasses
I wouldn't add either of these to an established sixline wrasse, they can be quite pugnacious to new fish, especially wrasses.

How attached are you to the sixline? Switching tanks is going to be your best opportunity to get rid of it.

There are a lot more options available without the sixline.

What are my options with the Six Line under the assumption it isn't established?

Bimac, fasciatus or pink square anthias, grammistes blenny, a froup of green chromis, a group of zebra dartfish, a group of scissortail dartfish.

Midas.blenny , atlantic tang, fire fish, hippo tang, tomini tang, blue reef chromis, goby, cleaner wrass, and some more wrasses

I would definitely stay away from firefish and other wrasses with a sixline.

And unless you have an exit strategy for them, hippo tangs and Atlantic blue tangs will outgrow a 90.

I have no plans of adding another Tang to the mix. I'm thinking the Chromis is the route to go. How big of a group should I attempt for?

Flame hawk or long nosed hawk, can the six line and get a melanarus wrasse, yellow "coris" wrasse, etc.

If you want to get adventurous go for fairy wrasse!
