So, I may be getting a 90g tank in the near future... My question is can I light a 90g (48L x 24H) with a 300w black box (30" wide) OR two Kessil a150Ws. Those are the lights that I already have access to. I'm trying to get this done on the cheap, so I'm hoping the lighting I have will suffice.

The 30" BB fixture will do OK. You may need to raise it a bit to cover the ends, but not much. I have very little experience with Kessil fixtures.
