90g Overhaul.....pics

well I started the process of turning my 90g BB today so I figured I would post it up here for you guys to see.

everything moved over to a 20l for a couple days:

this is a video of the Euroreef cs8-1 I mesh modded man that rock was dirty skimmer had been on less than 2 mins.:

Any reason for your decison to go bare bottom? Tank looks like it was in good shape to begin with.

sorry guys for the long delay in responding...I was at work...if that is what you want to call it...lol I get to scare the living (fill in the blank) out of people...lol. Now to answer your questions...I want to give BB a try to see if any of my SPS perk up I can provide more flow this way since there will be no sand...I will maybe have a DSB in my fuge I have not decided on that one yet...I have had no luck in growing coral..I have had a few pieces since I started and they have not spread at all and we are talking over a year....so basically I will be starting from scratch just without the cycle...I want to grow coral not just let them survive.

I agree with the BB. I like the looks of sand but I feel that sand is a toxic waste dump in a reef tank. I think that once the sand gets loaded with more crap than what it can handle the systems fails. In turn a "system crash" happens.
I have never used sand myself. This is just my opinion~

not much to update gotta pick up my plumbing goodies tomorrow I did manage to get the bottom of the tank painted black. I will post pics when there is something to see.
