Hey guys I'm going to be putting together another tank, 90g the biggest I've done so far. Currently running a 32 biocube for little over a year, I'm not upgrading just adding a new tank, so I'll be taking my time. I got a great deal on this tank but it needs a little work, need to reseal it, which is fine I'm not an any rush to set it up. With that I been toying with doing the Triton method really like the concept of using fuge for nutrient export. It will be mostly soft and lps corals and possibly sps much later down the road so the demand for Tritons dosing shouldn't be to much. I been planning on using synergy ts 34 Triton sump and Nyos Quantum 160 Protein Skimmer, Neptune controller with core 20 pump. I'm still deciding on what lights to use. Would love to hear what anyone thinks of it so far.

Lots of options when it comes to lights. Kind of a Ford vs Chevy debate.
Orphek atkantik, ai hydras, Radion, kessil are all top of the budget lights. There’s other budget friendlier noopsyche or ocean revives.

I personally for your tank would choose mars aquas affordable decent looking and grow about anything you want.

I been looking at the photon 48 v2+ by reef breeders at 800 seems like a good price. Anyone have any experience with them? How's the quality, color controller any good?

I use aquatic life 6 bulb t5. I love it and the corals love it. If price isn’t an issue I would do the hybrid aquatic life with 2 Radion in there with diffusers.
