90g stocking idea...

I'm gonna try to get a 90g tank for my future SW tank...and I've decided it's going to be a reef.
I'm aware of the fish species' care requirements and will be fully researching them before purchase. I just need to know if there would be any compatibility issues or overstocking here - or if any of you have had trouble with these species on a reef.

1 male and 2-3 females Bimaculatus Anthias (Pseudanthias bimaculatus)

Pair green mandarin dragonet (Pterosynchiropus splendidus) (will be training to frozen food before they go in)

Flame Fairy Wrasse - (Cirrhilabrus jordani) (How do they get along in pairs?)

Linckia Starfish (haven't decided on color)

emerald crab

I need something purple...any suggestions? Thinking maybe blackcap basslet or something...also considering a bicolor blenny, but I'm concerned he might be a problem for the mandarins.

I believe blackcaps ARE pseudochromis? I'll have to look it back up XDD

I forgot, my honey wants a clownfish. Think I could squeeze a pair in?

I thought tangs were a little aggressive?

I'm considering a Helfrich's Firefish.

With some input from another forum and some thought,

Maybe one or two other inverts. How's it looking?

I am a big fan of the Helfrichi's, good choice.
Inverts are awesome, I would definitely get some more in there. Some shrimp, feather dusters, clam (could get a purple one =P)

So that list isn't overstocking?

Thinking about a maxima clam, but you can only see the color from up top, correct?

If plan on keeping lots of corals and fish be carefull not to overfeed them fish.

It really depends on where the clam is placed. Also that your light is relatively spread out.
And as far as I can tell that is not overstocking.

As far as the anthias are concerned, I would go with all females and have one change to female. For me, I struggled to keep males alive. They would die within 1-2 weeks in my tank.

I've got 11 fish in my 90. Included in that are 3 tangs. I'm prepping to add a few more as well. You have plenty of room there. With what you have.

OK...I think I've decided. I'm gonna drop a Mandarin...that should lighten things a touch.

If I find out that this anthias can be kept in a pair I may just do that with them, too.

PHOOEY. What I'm reading says 5 or more females to every male for this anthias. Maybe if I dropped the wrasse and one of the clowns it'd make room? Or do you guys think 6 in a 90g is too much?
