Ok I have a reef keeper lite and wife called me at work asking why the water level is low. Told her to take a pic and send to me right away I knew the pump wasn't working. Told her to reset the power strips (we have 3 plus the PH probe thing.) they rest but the status light keeps blinking on everything and won't power back on. Then just now tried resetting from the control module and still the same thing. Tank has now been with out flowing water for 8+ hours. I do have a powerhead that's is plugged into the wall to give some water flow. Any help would be good.

i'd plug things into a power strip and bypass the controller until you find the problem. Leave dosers and such off, but I'd definitely try to get the skimmer, return, and such going again. The only time mine blink is when one of the ps1 modules is turning something on or off. do you have anything that might be causing issues plugged into it? maybe start disconnecting things one by one from the ps1 modules and then unplugging modules one by one to try and track down where the fault is. I'd hit DA's forum up too for answers.

No it's an orange status light that is blinking. I know what your talking about when things switch on and off.

Hi,
I had blinking lights too then I unplugged everything including the jacks which connect the main unit to the intelligent power strips, turned the unit back on reset it, turned it off then reseated the jacks, then turned on again and started the programming from scratch and plugged and programmed my devices one at a time.

Check these off of your list ...
1),Do any of the devices you have plugged in have built in controller modules?

2.)You say you have 3 powers strips made by rkl plugged into the rkl module!?
Is the total combined amps or wattage running into these powerstrips coming from one outlet? and if so does the load fall within the suggested load limit for that wall outlet?
3,)Are you using the rkl supplied jacks to connect the main module to the r4's?
4.)Have you EVER connected cheaper
very simular looking telephone jacks into your unit? Doing so will permanently damage the main controller module.

Everything is rkl. Font cut corners in but cheep when it comes to my tank. Everything has been running fine for 8 months now up until last wed. Must have had a power sure or something. I have tried unplugging everything and still the same results.

Plug in one module at a time starting with the first of your pc4's
Be sire only one pc4 module is connected.
Go through each pc4 like this until you get the flashing light, that would be your corrupt module.
IE: after your finished with the first of the pc4's, disconnect it and do the same with the second pc4 and so on, on down the list.
Before even doing this reload the upgrade 2.0 firmware on each module one at a time.
Good Luck!

All my old PC4 are bad. Took DA 3 weeks to ship out new ones and now I have to wait another week to get. I have to say there customer service has gone down hill.
