I am in the process of (re)setting up my 92corner tank. Doing my best for success, making additions and refinements from the get go. Things learned from the past and options for upgrades in the future.

The tank mesures 34in on the wall sides, 48in across(a bit more following the front pane) and 24in deep. I was running a coralife 250w MH pendent(acquired 2nd hand) running their 10K branded bulb. I had good luck with beginner corals (leathers, hammer, kenya tree). I like the pendent for it's look/mounting hanging free within the upper valance.

If $ were no object here I would probably build some sort of MH/hybrid that would hang & light the odd shape optimally. Initial thoughts and cash flow say to stay with the pendent, up to a quality 14K bulb and add some additional lighting, LED or T5. I am looking for input on cost effective fixtures to add on and ideas on placement ie; paralleling the side walls, across the front angled into the tank.
Please, let me know what you think, or if you have a new solution.

I feel your pain...I just broke down my 92 corner tank last weekend because of a slow leak. It was a bitter sweet situation. Probably won't be much help but I ended up just using one radion with the arm mount. Now granted I really didn't have much coral in there. My plan was to get a second radion and put one on both sides. Ultimately I just decided to upgrade to a 240 and combine everything from my 92 corner and my 180 to one tank instead of re-sealing it. It was just to much of a pain to light and get good flow with the odd shape. I had a love hate relationship with it lol! Before the radion I was just using 2 36' bmls. Made an egg crate cover and laid both on top. One close to the front and one towards the back. Lit the tank perfectly but was a pain to get in and out of it. Like I said probably not much help but maybe gives you kind of an idea what to try! Good luck [emoji3]
