93 gallon cube build

Its been a while since I was on last. I have had my 29 gal Coralife BioCube running for about 9 months now and it is going great. I recently bought a used 93 gallon Marineland cube, and I am very excited to get it going. It came with a sump and stand but after looking it over I decided to build a new stand. The tank was using a hang on style overflow and I choose to have the tank drilled for the return and also to add a ghost overflow. The tank was also covered in algae and still had sand in it. I got it all cleaned up and noticed it needed the seams re-siliconed. I sent it to have the work done on the tank, and I almost have the stand ready for paint. Can’t wait to have this all set up.

Making some good progress, following along

Just a quick update. Added a few more goodies to them is. Got the stand painted and completed. Should have the tank back in a couple of days from being resiliconed. Decided to have it drilled for the overflow and return lines. Went with a synergy ghost overflow. Also picked up a super reef octopus SRO-1000INT 5" I sump protein skimmer, BRS 6 stage waters aver plus RO/DI unit, 8x8x1 bio plate, Eshopps R-200 3rd gen sump, and a Chinese black box led light just in case. Very excited to get this going. I'm installing my RO/DI unit tonight.
