Thanks Randy. I had never seen either of my leopards jump at all. I'm not sure what caused it this time, I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. My pygmy wrasse in my biocube jumped into the back section and got sucked up in the return pump intake so it wasn't a good fish weekend for me

Got a few questions for you...

These rocks here, were they live? Or did you add them as dried (but previously live) rock?

Lasty, I saw that you have a manifold for various reactors, so other than the san and rocks, what else are you using for filtration?

Ie GAC?
GFO/Phosphate remover?
Biopellets?
Organic Carbon dosing?

What is your current NO3 and PO4 levels?

Yah those rocks are a combo of some BRS rock I got, and some older rocks I acquired throughout the years. About half the rocks in the tank started dry, the other half came from a 40B i had setup as a transition tank. But those rocks started dry in the 40B as well.

For filtration I've just got a TLF reactor with GFO, I change the media about once every 30-40 days, and I do weekly WCs of about 15gal. My NO3 and PO4 are both undetectable with my Salifert test kits.

How do you like that setup with the MP10s? Im running mine with 1 on each side. Im debating on trying to do my pumps like yours but it looks like its working for you due to your scape. It worked pretty good, but I had to add that wp25 to get a little more flow at the sides of the tank. Last weekend I moved the mp10s up to about 8" from the water surface and pointing over each stack of rocks. This seems to be working much better and I haven't needed the wp25 at all.

What are you running your pumps at? % wise? max i have mine is about 80%

I was running them at about 75% with them setup like in the above pics pointing down the valley between my rocks. But now that I've moved them they are running at 100%. Which can be annoying because one of them makes a whining noise when its revved up to 100%

No it seems to be perfect. My favias are right at the front of the tank on the sand and are doing great, acans are on the sides though i'm having trouble with one of them, my chalices in the middle and left side are all growing really well. I have them on reefcrest mode, so the time that they are actually at 100% is very minimal.

I use about 1 1/2 cups at a time. I've been running it since about the 3rd month I had this setup so almost 6 months now.

As always it looks awfull and you should just ship it up north for me Just kidding man looks great. And I upped my pumps like you did. Instant growth... All my polyps extended and it was literally like a steroid to my lps/sps.

Everything looks great Miles! Love those Ornate leopards! I picked up a blue star a couple weeks ago that has yet to show her face. Hopefully she makes it. I'm definitely gonna have to check out nice wrasse next time I place an order. I like the idea of someone doing my quarantining for me. What are the zoas a couple pics below that efflo?
