Hi Roger,I have a 12.5" x14. 5" section in my sump on a 120g heavy bio load,will the 9415 skimmer fit in this space?,I'm also running the algae reactor.

With the algae reactor you could easily use a 9410dc. I run one with no algae reactor or fuge on my 120.

There are a couple of good 9410 reviews on google.
Also google Glen Fong DSR.
He runs a 9410dc on a 150. His tanks are as heavy of a bioload as you can have.
My tank is based off of his method.

It would fit without the filter bag attached, it may be possible if you angled everything right to squeeze in the filter bag. The filter bags main job is bubble trap and splash control, but it also gives some mechanical filtration and a place to add a bag of carbon for example.

It all depends on fish load, generally you are on the margin of which one to use, but I have before and it is entirely doable to have a slightly smaller skimmer and compensate with algae and media and carbon dosing and do just fine. If the fish are relatively small, I would generally recommend the 9410 for your tank size, my only hesitation is larger or heavier feeding fish and if a lot of the corals are SPS, bigger would be better.
