95 gallon frag station build

Nice find, can’t wait to see it

rting my plywood stand. I use 7/8"cabinet grade plywood on all my stand builds. To conserve plywood and get better glue up area, I rip it down to 6" and 5 1/8" strips for the corners. I make sure to alternate the joints on the corners for maximum amount of glue up area and strength. 1st picture is the layout of the dual layers, 2nd picture is a close up of the corner showing that there's not a straight jointThat would cause a weak spot in the stand.

The rear section of the stand and 1 of the sides is now complete and just waiting for the glue to dry before moving on.

All 4 sides are complete and bottom is installed. Need 18 to 24 hours to make sure the glue is fully cured then I will begin the sanding and routing of all the edges because I plan on the finishing the cabinet in mahogany veneer to match my other tank.

Inside sanded and have the 1st coat of primer and white paint on the inside. Also have the oak top cut and gluing together. I changed my design a little bit and am going to have the drawer section on wheels but still wanted the workspace to the side of the frag tank.

I went very simple with the plumbing, 1 1/2 drain line with cpex valve, 3/4 inch return running off of a Reef Octo various 2 pump.
