My first guess is a bristle worm (harmless), but the antenna on the head mean it could be a Eunice (dangerous), so I would take it out just to be safe.

Agree. Bristle worm. Good for the tank; they churn sand. Try not to let them take over the tank.

Oop
Good point, they are more of sand dwellers, although they are complete mysteries to me lol
dont let eunice fool you. Mine was living in a large rock. I removed my largest one breaking my live rock up. It ate my ricorida. I had 5 in my sand bed. The one in the picture was smart.

That is not a baby bobbit worm. True bobbits are extremely rare, and most people claiming to have a bobbit worm have a different eunicid instead. Eunicids in general are more common than bobbits, but are generally scavengers and sometimes coral eaters, not fish-killers. I have some small eunicids that haven't touched anything yet, they just burrow in my sand.

Look up dorvellidae worms. Small, harmless algae-eaters. They look very similar to that, and you might wind up with dorvellidae in future. If you do, leave 'em in, they don't hurt anything.
