My tank has the dimensions: 60x30x20cm (~24x12x8in)
Instead of a rear chamber I chose a side chamber, with heating, refugium and tiny pump.

"hermit crab ladder", hermit crabs love terraces above the water line ;)

In the tank itself I have a MP10.
As light I have a Maxspect Glaive. I'm satisfied with this lamp.

It's a mixed reef with reef rocks and all kinds of corals (chosen by my Thor amboinensis, which are real terrorists, that love to kill corals ).

Also 9 Calcinus laevimanus are inside (they don't like mating at all :(, in two years they gave birth to larvae ONCE ). 9 of them!! They just love to eat and eat.

My sexy shrimps love mating and so I breed them :)

And I have one tiny Saron marmoratus, about Sexy Shrimp-size, that's really small!

your animals are amazing. great pics too.
So you know, Ive not heard of the same amount of success with invert breeding as you are having.
Whats your secret?

I have no secrets!
I took me one year until I had my first "single-unit production", one tiny sexy shrimp  The next attempts were as successful. I always worked on the food and the kreisel tank. Then I had a great attempt with 40 shrimps! But, there are still attempts when nothing survives. The larvae are swimming at the waterline (if this happens, you have no chance at all), they die after a few days...
What is very important is lots of water changes! I have an ammonia guard in my tiny kreisel tank, if the color changes just a little bit, I change the water.

I tried to raise Periclimenes-larvae, no chance, they died after 2 weeks. I had one success with Saron marmoratus, the little shrimps died after 2 days, it was the only one, that went through metamorphosis.

This was my big sexy shrimp family. I started with 3 shrimps, 2 girls and one boy (the biggest ones on the picture). Meanwhile I have their grandchildren and even grand-grand-grandchildren :D
Sometimes I buy a new girl with larvae at my local dealer for getting some new genes...
