I have a Red Sea Max C 250(65g). I want to install a UV sterilizer. The only submersible ones I can find are the Green Killing Machine.
The 9w will definitely fit in a back chamber, but is only rated for 50g or so.

The 24 watt says dimensions are 5x5" which will not fit.

If I can't fit the 24w, is it even worth putting the 9w in?

Depends on what you want it for.

Killing dinos & water clarity.
I ended up fitting the 24w GKM into the back pump chamber without any issues.
The inlet and outlet on the GKM are very close to each other, which seems a bit weird.
I guess I will see how it works!
If it's not effective, I'll get some hose and plumb the outlet to somewhere further away from the inlet.

Just curious how this is working out for you?

Honestly, I don't really see much of a difference, other than maybe a little better water clarity. Maybe a slight improvement on the dinos.

Thanks I have been on the edge for buying one for a while, but not really sure I actually need one haha.
