I set this tank up 8/06. It's a 240 gallon Glasscages tank.
It has a 85 gallon sump/refugium with a Bubble Master 250 skimmer.
The return pump is a Poseidon P-4 that goes to a bottom spray bar.
I have a closed loop, Poseidon P-4 going to 2 sea-swirls.
I have another Posaidon P-2 going to a 1/3hp Prime chiller out side on my patio.
3x250watt mh 14k Hamiltons with 2x160 watt actinic and 2x160 watt 50/50 bulbs.
2x Vortech MP40ES.
The first picture is right after moving the corals and fish from my old 180.

Here are some new pictures.

Wow yea that's an awesome tank! Beautiful set up! :D

Looks awesome.... I can't wait to start on my large softie tank. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice Tank Man, Just A Few Questions. What Type Of Overflows Are You Using Or Is It Drilled, How Do You Like Your A S M Skimmer, I Have The G-5 And I Love It, After I Bought It I Heard A Lot Of People Say They Didnt Like Them But They Have Come Over To See Mine Run And Were Pretty Impressed. I Also Have A Glass Cages Tank 320g With 160g Sump With A Custom Stand And Canopy.
You Have A Very Nice Set-up

Thanks.
I have durso's in the glass box with acrylic covers that I had made locally. The acrylic covers that glasscages made were point of sale.
I bought most of a sheet of 1/4" blue acrylic, had a local acrylic tank maker fab up some overflow boxes, siliconed them in and filled up the whole back wall with the same color acrylic.
As far as the asm skimmer,,, I'm not totally satisfied with it. It's a great skimmer for the money I paid, but I'm looking at something a little better.
I've heard the same negative comments about the glasscages tanks, but everyone that has come over to see my tank has left very impressed.

Tank 320g With 160g Sump, WOW!!!
That has to be impressive.

Thanks Man, If I Can Get Rev Over To Take Me Some Pretty Good Pictures Ill Post A Few On This Thread Since We Have So Much Of The Same Equipment. The G-5 Has 2 900 Gph Pumps Feeding It That May Make A Difference. Iam Using C Syphon Overflows With Aqualifter Pumps No U-tubes So No Lost Syphon. What Area Are You In?

I Actually Have Been There To See What They've Got Going On, But I Bought My Tank From A Guy Here Locally. Did It Cost You A Fortune To Get Your Tank All The Way Across The Country. I Had A Moving Company Bring Mine Home.

They were doing a west coast delivery run. So my shipping for a 240 gallon tank was $250.
