A 25g IM Lagoon

So I know this forum is one of the busiest out there so I wanted to share my tank with you all and what my current projects are.

I set up this tank to replace my 10g fusion and I couldn't be happier with it so far.

This is an old FTS from around Christmas.

A couple of coral shots

My current setup is as follows
Kessil a150 Sky blue
Hydor koralia nano
Jebao Wp-10
Magnafuge LED light with fuge basket full of chaeto
Purigen, filterfloss and that's it

My current project is to boost the light on this tank since my led was creating shadowing on some of the coral and I wanted to take a stab at t5s.

Here is construction of the canopy

The bulbs are giesemenn actinic and aquablue.
I'm unsure how I want to hang this over the tank however since where I have my tank doesn't have any good stud location on wall behind the tank

Here is the desired effect on the tank though and I must say I can't wait to get the fixture properly hung up

Finally got the t5 canopy hung up. Thinking about adding two more in the future so I'll have plenty of light from led and t5s

Finally found a spot for the torch coral too

Tank update. Coral are happy and really growing. Battling a little bubble algae here and there

Really nice build! I was looking to do the same thing with my lights but it was beyond my skill level and I just ended up with a 4 bulb ati with a reefbrite xho. How is the shimmer with the kessil and the t5s?

Haha making the canopy pretty was beyond my skill level [emoji28]. The shimmer wasn't really too badly affected actually. which made me quite happy bc this is one of the things I loved about my kessil the most! I'll try to post a vid of the tank tomorrow and hopefully that darn frag rack will be gone soon.

So I have aefw somehow. I had them a year ago and thought I got rid of them. All the coral are doing ok despite a few bits marks. What's everyone's best method for really getting rid of them?

Dang! AEFW sucks. Nice looking zoa garden though!
