a beautiful fish sunburst anthias

well i feel bad, really bad. the anthias didnt make it. i dont kno for sure but i think i died because it wasnt eating, it is a delicate fish on the other hand. next time i do get a fish i guess ima ask them to feed it in front of me.

FWIW, just because it has eaten in front of you does not mean it will eat once you get it home. Fish get very stressed through transit and have to calm down again and feel comfortable... of course, seeing it eat first is MUCH better than not.

Any new fish should be QT'd once brought home and weened onto prepared foods, watched closely for any signs of disease and treated accordingly. Divers Den has these guys available pretty regularly now, and would be a great place to pick up a healthy, already eating specimen.
