It's a great feeling congrats! Did you shake the Nitrate bottle 2 good? It will affect the outcome a bunch on the API kits.

I followed the directions on all of them yea. And right now I have two percula clowns, one purple firefish, a blood shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, a skunk cleaner, multiple astreas, 3 blue legged hermits, one Halloween hermit, a pistol shrimp and an emerald crab.

Its a 20 gallon tall with about 20 pounds of live rock. Just a HOB filter for flow and filtration right now. All of them seem to be quite happy right now.

Getting ready to start setting up for my 75 gallon soon which will be a proper sump setup. I'm excited! And also new to the hobby!
