I admit, I don't really find the commonly found putties to fix plugs or rocks to other rocks, very user friendly. And I've found that super glue really doesn't bond rocks (Like coral on a rock to a rock) well to begin with. So I am wondering if there is a better glue/putty to be had to bond skeleton, flesh, leather corals and rocks to display rock?

Not sure which putty you’ve been using. I find most of them to do a pretty poor job of holding. Now I only use the D&D pink stuff. It holds far better (is stickier) than any of the others I’d used. The only downside is that it takes a while to fully cure so you have to support the coral/frag.

D&D? Diver's den from Live aquaria?

No, D&D The Aquarium Solution. Just google it and you’ll see.

Whenever I use the 2 part putty I find that putting a dab of glue(I use the bulk gel from BRS) on the putty where the frag is gonna go to hold it while the putty cures and the same on the other end where it's going on the rock to hold it while the putty cures. It also allows for a break point if you ever need to remove the coral to move it. the glue will separate before the putty and wont damage the coral

I have super good luck with Aqua Stick and sea Clone.

I have good success with Tunze coral gum. As noted above, prepare the gum...put a few drops of glue on the frag/plug....put the preformed gum on the frag plug and press in place.....put more glue on the gum and press in place.

I was wondering if pond aquarium
Gold sealer would work.
Used it on pond for fixing hoses and sets solid. Does say safe for corals and live rock
