this article made me want more acans..

Ahh, another victim of my subtle, yet effective subliminal marketing suggestions, lol. Actually, this was in response to a reader's request, and worked out pretty good...Thanks for stopping by!

Great write up. Just jumped into acans recently. Very useful info. I am interested in the gyre water movement technique. I searched for it on your website and couldn't find anything

Great write up again. Do you have any pictures of colonies in the wild? Haven't found any pictures on the internet. Always wondered what they look like on a wild reef. Thanks.

Haha, reading these, I feel like I'm in science class. Love it! I wish someone would give me tests so I could be sure I got everything!

(No, really, I'm serious. I enjoy this sciency stuff - especially when it pertains to aquaria!)

Acans will always be near and dear to me . They are my favorite corals with chalices right behind them .

I'm starting to move them back to my 40b from my 120g. The ones in my 40b are fat and puffy and ready to eat. The ones in the 120g are hardly open. I think there's too much flow in the 120g.

I also found spot feeding them often give great growth.
