A bittersweet day...

So today has been a bit of good and bad for my tank. On Sunday, I found my beautiful happy healthy Elkhorn, knocked off its rock and down in the back of the tank.

When I picked it up, to my horror, I saw that it had begun bleaching out badly.

Today, it appears to be a lost cause. It has gone almost entirely white and I am afraid by tomorrow it will have given up the ghost entirely. :-(

On the positive side of the coin, I noticed today that it appears my Blue-tip Torch has a 2nd head. I don't recall it having 2 heads when I got it, but I may be mistaken.

I also received my order today from the MotorCity Corals sale earlier this month. Pics to follow..

So it has been a bit of an up and down kinda day for me..

dang that sucks. But I wouldn’t give up hope. Perhaps fragging it at the tip that still has tissue and it may recover?

It does look like your torch has 2 heads now

Sorry about the Elkhorn. Just a suggestion, some will cut the living part off and start over

I always beat my self up when something like this happens. Hopefully you can save some of it.
