Hi everybody.

I think it is time to start a thread and see what you guys have to offer in advice and general banter! My tank is 2 months old, it was a tank transfer so no, it is not white rock galore. The tank is a 100 gallon (400L) total water volume Peninsula reef. Den Braven Siliconed, 10mm thick glass, external overflow box. 10mm thick braces included. My current sump holds roughly 60L and the sump I have drying is 120L. I am South African and we work in liters. The tank is 1.3mL x 0.5mW x 0.5m H. C2C overflow on the side panel. 2 overflow pipes. 1 with a Durso and the second emergency overflow.

Equipment :
Flow consists of 2 x Jebao RW-8's and a tunze nanostream 6015.
Lighting is T5. Odyssea Qua. ATI bulbs all round. Blue Plus, Actinic, Coral Plus and Purple Plus.
Skimmer is a Reeftek TS2. Just replaced the OTP2000 pump.
Return Pump is a small boyu pump but my Sicce Syncra is on its way.
New Tunze 220.015 care magnet (yeah baby!!)
A Waterboy Premium RO\DI unit.
Jager 200w and a 150w heater.

Stock...
around 13 mostly local hermits.
1 boss emerald crab.
1 pompom crab. (new addition)
a handful of snails. (Turbo, Turban and Nassarius)
1 sand sifting starfish.
A few local starfish that have been reproducing.
2 cleaner shrimp that spawn every 2 weeks.
Montipora nudibranchs...Yes...

Fish.
1 diamond watchman goby that eats flakes and mysis.
1 black shoulder tang.

Corals.
12 SPS pieces.
Quite a few zoanthids.
A couple of Euphyllias
Some LPS, Blasto, brains...
I am sure you would rather see pictures...

This is the tank. I put down a rubber mat to stop water from spilling on the floor whilst doing the routine tests and such. It has been a life saver as I am renting. This is not my own house unfortunately.

My tank has just hit the 100g mark. Added my big sump and taken all life rock and substrate into account, the total capacity just exceeds 100g. Pretty stoked.

Happy new years people. I am away on holiday so I have not seen my tank in over a week, but I have been able to buy myself Midas Blenny and won a brand new Reef Octopus XP 3000SSS internal skimmer.

A quick FTS after I returned home, got my Refugium light sorted and did a bit of aqua scaping. After visiting my mother and father for the holidays, I helped them set up there tank. There aqua scape inspired me a bit.
