Is it a clam.
It's about ½inch

Looks like an oyster of some sort. Clams, oysters, scallops, mussels, cockles, etc. are all bivalves, a class of two-shelled mollusks. With a few exceptions like Tridacna giant clams, most are non-photosynthetic filter-feeders that will starve in our reef aquariums, though hitchhiker bivalves can last a very long time. They feed on very small (2-20 μm) particles like phytoplankton, which can be dosed to sustain them and other unique filter-feeders.

Yep understood 2 she'll equal bivalve.
But it's more than a typical shell use for fishing

Usually they're turkey wing clams hitchhiking in on live rock. Unfortunately I've never had success keeping them long term.
