This is the presidents of las Vegas valley reefers kid... A great kid with a great cause and does this out of his own heart... He needs a little help and I think we can make the difference... He needs to raise $500 to help find a cure.... I think we can make it happen and maybe surpass his goal...

Hi everyone it's Nick, Tomgl's son. I just wanted to let everyone know I am going to shave my head again to help raise money to find the cure for childhood cancers. The event will take place at McMullan's Irish Pub, 4650 West Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89103, on March 3, 2012. Please feel free to come by and watch. My shave time is to be determined. Thanks everyone for the donations last year and for help this year. What is St. Baldrick's? St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family. At a St. Baldrick's event, something amazing happens. People who normally shy away from the very thought of childhood cancer find themselves compelled to support this cause after looking into the face of these brave children who are smiling broadly as their friends and family members proudly display their newly shorn heads. Volunteers and donors see it can be fun to support a serious cause. Young cancer patients and survivors see how many people care. And researchers see St. Baldrick's funds helping to find cures!

That's really awesome. Sometimes my job brings me to the oncology department in a children's hospital. It's very sad to see some of the kids until you see how happy they are despite their circumstances. It is truly amazing to see how happy, kind, and cheerful someone can be while facing something so serious. I think everyone can learn a lot from those kids. Great cause and a great idea with the head shaving. Couldn't imagine what I would look like with a shaved head...lol

Hi everyone, I'm Nicks father. Thanks Lee for posting this. Nick and I both appreciate any help he can get before he hits the stage on March 3rd. Nick has been stepping up along side my boss and coworkers giving their hair each year since my bosses daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia (now in remission). Everyone felt the effects the little girl went through during treatment. It's just horrible what cancer does to these children and amazing how they keep their spirits up. Nick's a dedicated reef keeper and has been maintaining his own tanks and the schools since he was six. He wants to be a Marine Biologist and has his education all planned out. I hope my wallet can support his big dreams. He is also very active with the Vegas club, working at the meetings and the club booths at expos. I'm sure he would like to say something here but my wife and I only allow him to be on the Vegas forum. Thanks everyone for the help and I'm glad my first post here could be for something so important.

If putting in all your info is to much or you don't want to use a credit card you could pay pal me and I will make the donation for every one with proof shown here and on the site... Nick and I want to thank everyone for donating. He has made his goal of $500 in donations two weeks ahead of his shave. Hopefully soon through research a reason and a cure for childhood cancer will be found. It's unfortunate but with the rate of increase eventually everyone will know a child who has suffered. If you have the chance to go to the St. Baldrick's event in your town next month I highly recommend it. Thanks everyone for reading these posts and supporting this cause.
