Does lighting strength matter as much with soft corals like Ricordea?

If the DT algae starts out competing the Sump should I turn back the DT lights?
- I ask this because I noticed algae growing in the DT after I added a T5 bulb to my lighting system, I began with 2/4 bulbs now it's 3/4.

What does healthy Chaeto look like? (Mine is very dark green, tightly knit and crispy)

Is it normal to get green hair algae on my Chaeto that tumbles?

Are there any fish that will eat Chaeto for a 40 Gallon aquarium?

Is it bad for fish and soft coral health to mix up the sand bed very well which in turn causes the water to cloud pretty heavily once a month?

Is Brine really like candy for fish vs Mysis?

Thanks for taking time to read it over and all, I just got back from three weeks of being away from my tank and having my tank sitter take care of it, the only noticeable differences is the algae on rocks, a little hair algae on my chaeto and my lawnmower blenny colors setting in a bit (he's my favorite fish).

The algae is responding to the new spectrum. The lawnmower should take care of it. I like a toothbrush

I don’t mess with the DT time Vs algae. Reverse of fuge.

There are several species of chato.
Yours sounds normal.

Gha on it. That’s weird. Makes me want to say somthing fishy is going on. I don’t tumble. Don’t like it. I balive that much flow blows dirt back up to the DT.

I don’t know if fish that eat chato. I assume they are not Reef safe.
Confused you have chato in the DT.

Pipefish don’t like blowing sand , don’t know about others. More than a few do it, but it shouldn’t be that much after doing it a few times. I’d do sections.

Yea , not much to brine shrimp. I use gut loaded brine with spirulina.

Glad everything was ok while you were away.
