So I have a couple of questions about what's best and where to source things, I live in the UK and have just bought this 4ft x 3ft x 3ft marine set up!

Upon moving it for the car to the house I managed to break one of the glass braces.

Does anyone know where I can get another? I'm also after a top for it to minimise evap and stop any carpet surfers? Would a condensation tray suffice or do I need something else? Thanks guys and gals.

Hi mate, ND Aquatics would probably be able to help with this if you contact them. They make glass lids too. I actually have some of their glass lids here that I'm no longer using, I was just about to measure them in case they were any use to you but your a bit too far from me lol. They are quite easy to find on google as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put links up to non sponsor websites. Other than that a local glass company would probably make one for you if you give them dimensions, I had a local glass company up here in Inverness make baffles for me a while back.

I have also used the acrylic sheets from Homebase for making lids for tanks if you want to go down the cheaper DIY route.

Cheers mate but yeah we are a bit far apart! Ill have a look at ND aquatics and also check out the Homebase route! Do you think I could pick up a 10mm thick 3ft long peice of acrylic from a sit store for the brace I broke?
