Any one knows that do a black photon and percula clown fish make pair????
I have a percula and a black photon in my tank but they dont seem eager to make pair???

an other question is that how many times a clown fish is able to change its sex during its life???

There shouldn't be a reason that those 2 wouldn't make a pair, assuming they weren't both females.

Generally it goes from unsexed juvenile, to male to female --- the end. Once female it will stay female*. A male will stay male if there is a dominant female.

* there was a report by Rod (( of Rod's food/Onyx )) of a Clarkii complex female reverting to male, but that is the only time I have heard of any clownfish reverting.

Do you mean that if both of them were female they wont make a pair??
How should i understand that both of them are female or not??
I will send you the image to take a look.

this is their image

They can't change back from what they change into from a juvenile. You could have two males or two females but if there's not any aggression towards each other then its probably two males. You should really get two juvenile clowns so they can sort it out themselves s and assign their own rolls or get 2 that have already paired.

The bigger one(percula)is some times aggressive to the other one.Specially when i feed them?
Is that a sign of being from diffferent sexes or not?????
Another question is that what are the signs of a clown fishes pair ??

It could be.the female will normally feed before the male. The female will dominate the male which can be mistaken for aggression with pushing etc but just showing their place in the pecking order but that shouldn carry on for long. You will probably see a tail-bum wiggle at each other.once they bond they will be inseparable. Mine have made a ditch in the sand where they live. The male stays close to their home but the female is more outgoing.how long have you had them together? I don't think its normally a very long process for them to pair. Eatbreakfast knows a lot more about fish then I do he might be able to shed more light on it for you

give it time...I have had my pair for 6 months and they just now are acting like male/female

you can't expect clowns to pair in 2 weeks, this process can take a long time

I have 4 clownfish 2 in 2 different tanks. One pair is showing eggs laying practice and the others are burley becoming friends. Have all 4 for about 6 months. It's up to the clownfish
