Hi everyone, my name is mike. Just wanted to say hi. I am fairly new to the hobby. Been in for a little over a year. I am from beautiful Miami Fl. I am a lab manager for a pharmaceutical company, happily married and just found out my wife is pregnant . I currently have a 100 gallon front bow with a 20 gallon sump. 2 hydra hd led lights, reef octopus skimmer, uv, chiller, filter socks and filter floss with some crushed up coral in my sump. I feed mysis every 3 days and a very little bit of pellet and flake every other day. I also spot feed my corals reef roids about once a week. I currently dose 24ml of cal and alk and about 6ml of mag daily. I have had my battles with bryopsis, cyano, hair algae, ich and flat worm. Good news I have adjusted and corrected the issues but most importantly learned. I have to say thank you to a good friend of mine for all his help (Alex from 4D Corals).
My next goal is to house a happy and healthy mandarin goby. I have always been fascinated by their color and character. I do not have a refugium nor have ever added and pods to my display. Can you guys and gals help me out with any ideas I can do to reach my goal. Thank you again for your time on reading my post. Cheers and happy reefing.
