I have 2 tanks side by side. One is a 56 gallon column high nutrient reef with 12 docile fish, blennies, gobies and cardinals. The other is a 30 gallon XH, home to 3 erectus seahorses. The seahorse tank is not as well lit since it has only macro algae and super easy low light coral. The 56 gallon has a T5 fixture with moonlight leds. I enjoy the led in the early morning so always have them on when I get up. Since the fish have become earlier riser as a result I have begun feeding their tank some coral invert food along with some flake and herbivore pellet food.

This morning I noticed Eve, my matriarch seahorse was up and looking longingly into the other tank and seemed to be very indignant that they were being fed and nothing was in her tank. Her eyes were practically green with envy! It made me smile but I did feel bad for her. Her breakfast is coming shortly when her room mates, Samson and Delilah wake up.

LOL. Yeah, my Blue Spot Puffer starts eye balling me when I get up to make coffee. It's relentless. Can feed it by hand. Just have to watch those two front teeth LOL
Post a picture of your tanks. Especially the seahorse tank. :)

How about a video I took recently?

Both of your tanks are very cool. Really like the inclusion of the macro algaes in the tanks. :)

Thanks, I have had seahorses for a while and they make an incredible bioload and macro algaes help export nutrients naturally. I seem to be better at keeping macro algaes than corals anyway and I am mostly interested in creating a natural environment for my fishes.

Here is my funny for the week
I had my cup of hot tea sitting on the counter while putting cubes of frozen food in a container to feed the fish. Well I managed to put 2 cubes in my tea. I guess I cant talk and chew gum at the same time. Yes I did drink it anyway
