Second. Has anyone used this system? Any feedback? Also, should I discontinue Iodine while using KZ?

What is it?! How exciting I only get gift coupons. Well I take that back, one time they sent me a MASSIVE box of marine pur blocks, like small apartment refrigerator sized box when I had ordered pvc fittings….

They told me just to keep ‘em, however I don’t trust them for my reef because of degrading and leeching, BUT I did manage to use them in my pond and it made a MASSIVE difference. Gotta get creative with weird freebies

I also got lucky and was sent a gift. Which i have absolutely no use for. But still nice.
Its a EShopps Eclipse L DIY overflow box.

Nice gift. Not sure what it is though. I’ve only ever placed one order (just a few days ago) and I got what I ordered but that was it. No gift (wasn’t expecting anything), no packing slip, just the two pmups and the box.

I order a lot from BRS.
For black Friday i probably spent upwards of $2k in one order (Apex stuff). And in that box I got a $10 coupon.
Then realized I forgot to order a $15 cable. So placed an additional order for that. I ended up getting the EShopps Eclipse L (worth about $150) in the box with the $15 cable.

The gift thing is something they rarely do it's not a normal promotion AFAIK. It's being talked about because they did it the week of Black Friday. It's kinda ironic because I'm sure there are a lot of people who recieved items they have absolutely no use for. I guess it's the thought that counts though.

I would've played the system and bought every apex item as a seperate order (as long as it was over the $50 for free shipping...which being apex I'm sure every item was).

I'm what's wrong with society. LOL.

There is nothing wrong with that at all IMO. I would have done the same but I just make too many mistakes when I order stuff. And too many invoices, its all too confusing for me to keep track of.

Nothing wrong with that. I’m sure BRS could just as easily add a program to their system or even a “terms and conditions” of limit 1 free gift per address regardless of number of orders. Still won’t stop the multiple orders but as they say “don’t hate the player, hate the game”. And no I’m not hating on BRS, they’re just the Amazon of online fish stores.

@Macdaddynick1 I found this in their website. I’m not seeing Iodine listed but that doesn’t mean it’s not in there

KZ Coral System does not include calcium, alkalinity or magnesium. Simply pair up with your favorite 2-part solution for one of the most complete major and minor trace element systems.

Korallen-Zucht has designed an all inclusive system that is for aquariums that are NOTrunning the Zeovit system.

Korallen-Zucht has always been known for their Zeovit system that allows aquarium to produce corals with perfect coloration and growth. They now have a system that includes all the necessary components for reef tanks that are not running the Zeovit system. The easy to use Coral Components System is much easier only requiring once a week dosings that have specific goals in mind. If you are trying to enhance a single color in your tank, or looking for an entire trace element system, the KZ Coral System is for you.

Coral System Component 1

Contains - Nickel, Manganese, Fluorine, Sodium, Rubidium, Zinc, Vanadium

  • Enhances polyp extension
  • Intensifies yellow/gold coloration
  • Intensifies green coloration
Instructions - Dose 5 mL for every 25 US gallons once per week.

Coral System Component 2

Contains - Sodium, Boron, Bromine, Strontium, Flourine

  • Enhances polyp extension
  • Promotes faster and stronger base encrustation
  • Intensifies red coloration
  • Intensifies pink coloration
  • Intensifies purple coloration
Instructions - Dose 5 mL for every 25 US gallons once per week.

Coral System Component 3

Contains - Amino Acid, Organic Elements

  • Facilitates biological functions
  • Promotes faster growth
  • Enhances overall coloration
Instructions - Dose 5 mL for every 25 US gallons once per week.

Coral System Component 4

Contains - Potassium, Fluorine, Bromine, Iodine

  • Promotes faster and stronger base encrustation
  • Intensifies blue coloration
  • Intensifies green coloration
Instructions - Dose 5 mL for every 25 US gallons once per week.

Yes I have used them on a once a week basis as my primary coral health supplement. Ryun from BRS also uses them`. Subjectively speaking I do feel that they are beneficial and will continue using them.

Thanks for the reply, I checked the label and it looks like one of the bottles contains iodine. I will discontinue a separate dose just to be safe.

Awesome, I’m going to be trying this as soon as I get to do a water change on my tank finally haha.
