have a terrible issue with red planaria,
but my ricordia loves my tank, got him as a single head, and it has since split 2 times

Get a Blue Sapphire Damsel. They love eating flatworms. And they are a very peaceful fish. I keep a small school in my tank.

in the last pic the completely washed out fish at the bottom is a blue sapphire damsel, and yes I've watched them eat the red planaria, unfortunately hasn't been enough to wipe the population. When I added the guy to the tank within 10 minutes the first day he was picking at the planaria, I started with 2 one passed (always sucks). I also do a lot of blasting the rocks as i do water changes and make sure to suck the planaria up

I know about it but would rather not use chemicals as much as possible, and with my current situation I don't think the caretakers of my 20g want to deal with that extensive treatment, they are doing a good job of sucking them pests up. Once I'm back to my tank in 5 months or so (overseas for work) I may just do that and use flatworm exit.

update, no pics, but through talkign with the person in charge of takign care of my tank while deployed, stated that one of the smaller ricordeas detached from the main group, and found a new home elsewhere in the tank, but is doing well and growing. haven't lost any Live Stock, both fish are doing well and eating well, coral wise some zoa I had that had been declinging for a long while kicked the can though. Ricordea is happy and growing. Through the maintenance and target cleaning the red planaria is being kept to a minimum. Can't wait to be home and see it for myself, as well as work on finalizing my upgrade i have planned
