A HOLE in my Bounce Mushroom!! :(

dang! That’s crazy! Is something munching on it? If it’s no fish watch at night and see if anything is messing with it. If not, then I’m clueless on this. Sorry for this! Why couldn’t it had happen to a common nuclear zoa?...

Could be splitting from either stress or growth. Not real sure to be honest

I certainly hope not!! It's directly viewable from my bed, and I've never seen anything of that sort happen before.

I REALLY hope it's just splitting and there's nothing to be afraid of!

I had this happen to a jawbreaker recently, it just wasted away to nothing and died.

No idea, all my other mushrooms are fine. the hole was in the middle where the mouth was and it just kept shrinking away until there was nothing left. I’m guessing it was some kind of infection?

I have this beautiful Bounce Krakatoa that’s rather rare where I’m from and I also hope it is splitting. It does look like 1 mushroom forming two. But like others here I’m not sure if it’s in trouble and if I need to take some kind of action.

I have one doing this now and was hoping to find out whatever happened with yours? Mushroom seems to be fine, all but the filament I can see. Hard to see in this pic, but it's right by the mouth.
