I just wanted to get this in before I go to bed tonight...

Thank You to Schminksbro!!!! Andy came up today to help me with a re-aquascaping project that had gone terribly wrong. I think we all know what happens when we need to move just this ONE or TWO or the WHOLE left side.... of the tank!

Anyway, pics tomorrow afternoon, but suffice it to say that the tank is back in shape, hugely due to Andy.

My corals are a bit mad at me right now, but I am sure they will get over it!

Sorry bro!

No problem Mike. We can get together once a week and tear your tank apart and change it. LOL!!! I think it looks awsome! I have those frags in the frag tank. Lovin the PURPLE!!!!!

LOL! Ya Chris, I know but lights are out at 9:30pm. Actinics are on at 11, and mains on at noon! Don't worry, I will post some pics for sure!

Andy, I think I will pass on that once a week offer. ;) I'm glad you like that PURPLE... We need to figure out a name for it huh?

The offer is always open. I'll have to give the name some thought. That coral is very sweet.

Again, Scminksbro, THANK YOU!

My corals are still really ticked at me, especially the Hawkins, and the Purple Monster, but I am sure they will recover very soon. (Fingers Crossed!)

Thanks Austin! Andy deserves most of the credit though.

We did set the cap rock on some 1.5" PVC that we buried into the sand as well, now if the goby digs under it, it will not tumble.

Another thing that I really like is the openness of the structure, even though it looks like a pile of rock on the left, there are several channels that weave in and through.

Oh, another HUGE bonus is we were able to get the butthead pseudochromis out, and we found one of my female Lyre tails had a bad case of popeye, so we moved her down to the sump. I plan on treating her in my sons 15 gallon tank, he has a small pair of clowns that should be just fine.

Mike that is one sweet looking tank.. Nice aquascape as well.. You have some nice colonies in there.. Any close up :D

Thats looking GOOD! I like the aquascaping and the cap on the right.

Mikes tank is awsome! That section with the caps is amazing. You couldn't design the growth pattern and color mix and have it come out any better. Looks great Mike. I can't wait until it grows in some more. Then I can come out and help set up the upgrade.

Thanks Steve. No close ups for a while I am afraid, some of my favorite colonies are still quite mad at me. Once things color back up though, I will post a new round of macro's.

Thanks Andy! :embarrassed:

Yes, you can come up again to help with the upgrade! I think you are a glutton for punishment though. ;)

Great looking aquascape... Nice work all around. I'll order another 100 lbs of rock and you two can come aquascape it! :)

Looks great guys......Is that cap have frags and other colonies on it? From the looks of it in those pics it does.

Thanks! I don't know about that, though... maybe if you order 5 20 pound pieces. ;)

I work for frags and plane tickets. LOL

Me too!

awesome job. great looking setup

Thank you.

Thank You! Yes, it does! There are actually 4, 3 acros and a branching monti that is not a good fit due to the caps encrusting over it.

You guys have some mad skills! Looks great.

Thank You!

Tank looks great!

Thank you! I (we) appreciate it I'm sure!
